CELTIC will take to a grass pitch of Premiership standard in the Scottish Cup IF their fourth-round tie goes ahead at Auchinleck Talbot's place.

So says Bot assistant boss Allan McLuckie, who's expecting clarity on where next month's top versus sixth tier showdown will happen by the end of the week.

Kilmarnock have already been in touch with the West of Scotland Premier League outfit, given McLuckie estimates Beechwood is able to cater for between 3800 and 4000 punters.

Talbot took on Hearts at their own ground at this stage in January 2022 having gone to Tynecastle twice in the decade before.

McLuckie, who along with boss Tommy Sloan has dedicated more than two decades to Talbot, said: "I'm delighted more for the committee guys at the club.
