BO CASH TO BOOST DONS ON THE PITCH

ALAN BURROWS says Aberdeen will reinvest every penny of Bojan Miovski's record transfer fee into the football department after he completed his £6.8million move to Girona.

Miovski is set for Champions League football with the La Liga side after setting the Premiership alight in two years with the Dons.

The £600,000 signing from MTK Budapest was a firm favourite with the Red Army. And chief executive Burrows insists the record deal, which is likely to be further bumped up with a future sell-on clause, is the perfect example of the player trading model which has already brought in significant fees for Lewis Ferguson, Ylber Ramadani and Calvin Ramsay.

Burrows said: "Bojan has been a magnificent No.9 for Aberdeen and although we are clearly sad to lose him, we're also delighted that he has achieved such an exciting move.
