Pressley hails Tynecastle investor for his ambitions

BLOOM'S SHOPPING AT GAP

STEVEN PRESSLEY reckons Tony Bloom's ambitious move into table-topping Hearts is refreshing for Scottish football.

The ambitious Brighton owner has bought a stake in the Tynecastle club and given them access to his Jamestown Analytics software.

Bloom has also made it clear he wants to break the modern-day duology of Celtic and Rangers and is aiming to do it within a decade.

Derek McInnes’ side have made a near perfect start, taking 19 points from 21 in the league to move two points clear of champions Celtic.

Pressley said: “It’s brilliant. It’s what our game needs. It's refreshing.

“It's why Bloom came into the market here at a club like that.

“He sees a gap in the market that if they utilise the recruitment strategy here, they can maybe challenge the Old Firm.

“They're doing that.”
