Monster was facing prison after sex assaults

A DISGRACED doctor who faced being sent to prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting patients is feared to have fled the country.

Egyptian-born Dr Mohammed Gado was due to be sentenced yesterday but failed to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was previously granted bail on condition that he did not leave the UK before being sentenced and his passport was retained by the court.

But the court was told that Gado, 45, who has been placed on the sex offenders register, had not been seen since the jury returned guilty verdicts against him.
