Campaigner admits threatening behaviour at migrant hotel demo
THE leader of a group that took part in months of protests outside an asylum seekers' hotel has admitted swearing at and abusing a cop.
Connor Graham, organiser of Save Our Futures & Our Kids' Futures (SOF) until it disbanded on Tuesday, pled guilty yesterday to a breach of the peace.
Falkirk Sheriff Court heard the allegations stemmed from incidents outside the Hotel Cladhan in Falkirk on December 6.
Graham admitted threatening and abusive behaviour likely to cause fear and alarm. He shouted, cursed and uttered threatening and derogatory remarks at on-duty PC Nathan Wilson, including a slur related to disability.
Graham's not guilty plea to a second charge alleging he was attempting to incite violence was accepted.
The court heard that the 28-year-old, from Stenhousemuir, Stirlingshire, has previous convictions for dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.
