All change for Nats as CEO Beattie quits

THE SNP has appointed its third chief executive in three years after Carol Beattie stepped down with immediate effect.
The former boss of Stirling Council was named the Nationalists' permanent CEO in March and had been expected to oversee the party's Holyrood election campaign next year.
She had previously served in the role on an interim basis after the resignation of Murray Foote, a former editor of the Daily Record, in October 2024.
