Cancer patient Peter's daughter says FM kidding himself over NHS in crisis
THE First Minister was branded “‘delusional" yesterday after he apologised to a dying grandad who was kept waiting for 15 hours in A&E.
Peter Black, 71, who has stage 4 cancer, was only seen at Wishaw General in Lanarkshire when the health board's chief executive intervened.
His shocking case was raised at First Minister's Questions in Holyrood by Labour leader Anas Sarwar.
Sarwar asked John Swinney: “Does every family have to complain to the chief executive?
“Peter's daughter Nicola told me, ‘No family should have to experience what we have. I know that is a reality for thousands of people. The system is broken and it feels like the SNP has totally abandoned the NHS:
