Piece of wedding cake from Elizabeth and Prince Philip's big day in 1947 up for sale for £500
A 77-YEAR-OLD slice of wedding cake from Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's wedding found in a suitcase under a bed has emerged for sale.
The "incredibly fragile" sliver of the alcohol-laced fruit cake was one of 2000 given to guests at the wedding reception at Buckingham Palace on November 20, 1947.
