Witnesses say troops shot at hungry crowd

ISRAELI forces yesterday shot dead four Palestinians trying to get aid, it is claimed.

With Gaza City now officially in famine, Al-Awda Hospital and two witnesses said troops shot into a crowd heading to a site run by the Israeli-backed US contractor Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. Witness Mohamed Abed said: “The gunfire was indiscriminate.” He and Aymed Sayyad, also seeking aid, said soldiers fired when a group surged forward.
