£3.4billion Cyber sale hope after Friday fall

BARGAIN hunters are forecast to spend a near £3.4billion during Cyber Monday today as data showed the number of people hitting the shops on Black Friday was down on last year.
Data which tracks footfall the volume of people out and about - revealed a 3.3 per cent year-on-year drop on Friday.
Numbers at various destinations were measured up until 5pm.
"The cost-of-living squeeze appears to be weighing on overall activity," said number crunchers MRI Software, which produced the data.
