Warnings of floods as Goretti ice melts

HEAVY rain and melting snow and ice could lead to flooding in the wake of Storm Goretti, the Met Office has warned.
Natural Resources Wales (NRW) listed 13 flood alerts amid concerns of flooding to properties and roads.
The warnings follow heavy snowfall in parts of Wales and gusts of almost 100mph in southwest England, where a rare red warning notice of “dangerous, stormy” winds was issued by forecasters last week.
