Trees were blown over, blocking roads and sparking travel disruption, flood alerts were in force for parts of Gwynedd and the south east of North Wales, amid a yellow alert for wind, which lasted until midnight.

Anglesey County Council released a list of seven roads that had been blocked by falling trees and branches including Lon Haulfre, Llangoed, the B5109 Llansadwrn to Allt Goch and at Llanddaniel Level crossing.
