Tragic death of farmer, auctioneer and 'most devoted dad'

Tributes after news that John Wynne Davies had died, aged 38

TRIBUTES have been paid to a well known farmer, auctioneer and “most devoted dad”.

John Wynne Davies ran the family farm and glamping business at Trelan Farm in the foothills of the Clwydian Range with wife Catherine.

He was also an extremely popular auctioneer at J Bradburne Price - where he was “loved and respected” by customers.

But his most important role was as father to his three children, Betrys, 8, Iori, 6, and Ani, 4.

Sadly it was announced on Friday that he had passed away after a battle with illness, aged just 38.

His wife Catherine said: “As a family we've been extremely touched by the outpour of love and support from our community.
