Snow forecast for N.Wales on New Year's Day

SNOW has been forecast for North Wales on New Year's Day, according to Met Office charts.

A chilly New Year is predicted, with freezing temperatures.

Although snow is difficult to predict, even a few days in advance, because of the number of variables involved, the conditions are there which could see falls in the coming days.

Met Office weather maps show snow falling in parts of North Wales on New Year's Day, during the evening and night, predominantly over Gwynedd and Conwy.
