School to shut for assistant's funeral

ASCHOOL will close for the funeral of teaching assistant Angela Shellis.

The body of the 45-year-old mum was found near football fields in Prestatyn on Friday, October 24.
Her son, Tristan Thomas Roberts, 18, of Coniston Drive, Prestatyn, has since been charged with her murder. A trial is set to take place next year.
Ms Shellis was employed as a teaching assistant at Rhyl High School. Headteacher Philip Collins described her as “caring and committed” in a tribute after her death.
