Reds dealt blow with Bradley out for season

CONOR BRADLEY will miss the rest of the season after the Liverpool fullback suffered a “significant knee injury” in Thursday's 0-0 draw with Arsenal.

The Northern Ireland international will undergo surgery in the coming days after being stretchered off at the Emirates Stadium.

Subsequent scans showed Bradley had avoided an ACL rupture. However, he suffered damage to both bone and ligaments in his left knee.

The club has not placed a timeframe on his return to action, but it is understood the defender is set to miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury.

A statement from the club confirming the news read: “Liverpool FC can confirm Conor Bradley has sustained a significant knee injury. The right-back suffered the issue in the latter stages of Thursday night's Premier League fixture away at Arsenal.
