Reds are keen on landing Frimpong

LIVERPOOL are expected to contact Bayer Leverkusen and trigger Jeremie Frimpong's £30million release clause to make the Holland international their first signing of the summer transfer window.
Negotiations are ongoing with the player's representatives over personal terms with Frimpong keen to make the move to Anfield.
The 24-year-old, a right-sided player who has featured at both full-back and wing-back for Leverkusen, has been identified as a priority as head coach Arne Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes begin to strengthen the squad of the new Premier League champions.
Frimpong has five goals and 12 assists in 48 appearances this season, and had 26 goal contributions last term as Leverkusen won the German league and cup double and also reached the Europa League final.
