'DISAPPOINTMENT' AT 10-MONTH JAIL TERM AFTER 'BLATANT DISREGARD FOR SAFETY OF BRAVE OFFICERS'
A MAN who spat in the face of a police officer and bit another's hand after being arrested for knife possession has been jailed.
Bowaen Wild, 28, of Churchill Close, Old Colwyn, appeared for sentencing at Mold Crown Court on Monday.
A North Wales Police statement said Wild "was jailed for 10 months after admitting multiple charges".
North Wales Police officers had arrested Wild on 2 March 2025, following reports of a male walking down Glan-Y-Mor Road, Old Colwyn, with a knife in his hand.
He had also been identified as a suspect in a nearby attempted robbery.
