Midfielder Rathbone reveals Reynolds' contribution to key result

WREXHAM'S ambitions for promotion received a significant lift last weekend when they secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Burton Albion on home turf.

The club's co-owner, Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds, was among those supporting the side, witnessing goals from Steven Fletcher, Sam Smith, and Jack Marriott from his private box at the Racecourse Ground.

Following the game, an elated Reynolds took to Instagram to share his emotions, ranking the moment within the top five experiences of his life as the Red Dragons took another step towards promotion from League One.

Wrexham midfielder Ollie Rathbone has now shared that prior to the match, Reynolds offered an inspiring pep talk in the changing room which he believes contributed to their success.

During his appearance on the Men in Blazers podcast, Rathbone spoke highly of Reynolds.
