Mother of six tried to sneak drugs to inmate during visit

JUDGE SUSPENDS SENTENCE FOR SAKE OF HER CHILDREN
A MUM-OF-SIX visiting a prisoner at a Wrexham jail passed him spice and cannabis.
Sarah Cormell was meeting inmate Steven Corby at HMP Berwyn on July 1 last year when prison staff spotted the incident.
Both admitted taking a prohibited article into a prison.
A judge at Mold Crown Court yesterday gave Corby a 12-month jail sentence and Cormell an eight-month jail sentence.
However, her term was suspended after the judge heard she has six children.
