Man jailed after crash unmasks county lines drug operation

On the afternoon of June 25 last year, local police officers responded to reports of a twovehicle collision on Nant-y-Glyn Road, Colwyn Bay.

Astatement by North Wales Police said: “A male, whose car was struck in the incident, suspected the other male driver had been smoking cannabis at the wheel prior to the collision.

“He and his female passenger failed to stop after the incident and then travelled away from the location.

“Officers subsequently located the vehicle - a silver Vauxhall Corsa owned by 30-year-old Dillon Eastaway, of Duke Street, Liverpool.

“Upon returning to his vehicle with his girlfriend, Eastaway was arrested by officers on suspicion of motoring and drug offences”
