Mac risks wrath of fans after Parkinson chat

ROB Mac has risked the wrath of Wrexham fans after revealing a chat he had with manager Phil Parkinson.

The Red Dragons registered a shock 3-2 win over previously unbeaten Championship leaders Coventry City on Friday night courtesy of a perfect hat-trick from striker Kieffer Moore. Wrexham put in a much-improved performance compared to their 2-1 defeat to Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup fourth round in midweek, which saw the team booed off the pitch by some supporters at full-time.

Hollywood actor Mac, who co-owns the club with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, noted the atmosphere created by fans at the Racecourse Ground against Frank Lampard’s Coventry also received a boost. Posting on X on Saturday, he urged them to keep playing their part as Wrexham look to establish themselves in the second tier.
