Chwilio oeddwn i am gerfluniau Pont Llanfair, neu Bont Britannia, dros Afon Menai. Y llewod carreg a anfarwolwyd yng ngherdd y Bardd Cocos fel hyn:

Chwilio am lewod pen yma oeddwn i, ar y tir mawr. Mi gaiff llewod Môn aros am ymweliad rywbryd arall efallai (...ond wedi meddwl, un o Fôn oedd John Evans y bardd, felly 'dau'r ochr drew' ydi llewod ochr Bangor mae'n siwr yn'de!).
Roedd Gerddi Botaneg Treborth yn cynnal bore agored a gwerthiant planhigion ddiwedd mis Mai, a gan fod Llwybr Arfordir Cymru o fewn tafliad carreg, mi dreuliais fore difyr iawn yn crwydro ar lan y Fenai. Mae tri neu bedwar llwybr yn ymuno efo'r llwybr arfordir swyddogol o'r gerddi, ond gan fod giât meysydd chwaraeon Prifysgol Bangor yn agored, dyma fentro trwy fanno.
Gwell gen i gerdded mewn cylch os oes cyfle, yn hytrach na thaith yno-a-nôl ar hyd yr un llwybr, ond mantais arall cael crwydro caeau pêl-droed ac athlethau, ydi fod amrywiaeth ddifyr yn aml o laswelltir o wahanol hyd, ac felly'n llefydd da ar gyfer pryfetach a phlanhigion gwyllt ar hyd yr ymylon.
