Kosac can sink his teeth into victory at Catterick

The six-year-old is a sole runner on the card for trainer Jamie Snowden, who has saddled 16 winners from 38 runners at the North Yorkshire circuit, equating to a very healthy strike-rate of 42 per cent.

Kosac d’Oudairies, a £90,000 recruit from the Irish point-to-point field, shaped with promise on his first two bumper starts before making it third time lucky with a 12-length success at Ffos Las 11 months ago.

He picked up where he left off when making a successful hurdling debut at Lingfield in November and was certainly not disgraced behind the highclass Mydaddypaddy on his next start at Haydock.

Dropping back down in class for the Go Racing In Yorkshire Season Ticket Novices’ Hurdle, Kosac d’Oudairies is difficult to oppose.
