The 2026 contest will mark the first time in 40 years that Hull KR have faced Australian opposition, with NRL champions the Broncos looking to win the showdown for the first time since 1997, having lost to St Helens in their last two appearances.

RUGBY LEAGUE The World Club Challenge will be revived in 2026 when Super League champions Hull KR host the Brisbane Broncos at the MKM Stadium.
The Robins will head across the city from their Craven Park home to rival Hull FC's stadium for the contest on February 19, which recent reports had suggested could be held in Qatar.
