HILL FARM EVENT FOR ROYAL WELSH FEATURE COUNTY

AS part of the Royal Welsh Feature County activities, Caernarfon are organising an event at Hafod y Llan, Nantgwynant, near Beddgelert through kind permission of the National Trust, on Thursday 12 June 2025.

The theme will be Hill Farming, and the organising committee have been busy getting a schedule of activities together which will appeal to everyone.
Hafod y Llan is 1,800 hectares and the farm has three hefted sheep flocks of Welsh mountain sheep, and a small herd of pedigree Welsh black cattle.
There are also hydro schemes, solar panels, a campsite and tourist accommodation. The farm extends from the valley floor to the summit of Yr Wyddfa.
