Gravenberch is aware players must do better

RYAN GRAVENBERCH has explained how his midfield partnership with Curtis Jones is helping his goalscoring revival.

Gravenberch scored his fourth Premier League goal of the season when netting the opener in the 2-1 win over Wolves.

It is in contrast to last season when the Dutchman failed to find the target once as the Reds romped to a 20th championship.

Having played alongside Alexis Mac Allister for the majority of that campaign, Gravenberch has been partnered by Curtis Jones at the base of midfield for the last four Premier League games.

And Gravenberch said: “I know Curtis loves to take the ball and dribble from the back. He's really comfortable and almost never loses the ball.

“It's really nice to play with him. It makes you more comfortable to bring the ball forward.
