Cries for help save four adrift at sea

PADDLEBOARDERS adrift in the sea off Criccieth Castle were rescued after the public heard their cries for help.
It has sparked a warning from the RNLI for people to wear lifejackets and have a means to raise the alarm, such as a phone or radio.
A Criccieth RNLI statement said: “At 6pm on 20.5.2025, volunteer crew members from Criccieth’s RNLI Lifeboat Station launched and rescued four paddle-boarders adrift off Criccieth Castle.
