CAR'S ALARMING HILL SLIDE CAUGHT ON CAMERA

PEOPLE watched open-mouthed as an out-of-control VW car slid down a steep snow covered residential street in Gwynedd.

As it veered across the road, in the face of oncoming traffic, residents and walkers dived for cover.

A dramatic video was posted online yesterday afternoon showing the perils of driving on some of Bangor's snow-covered streets. The VW's hill-length slide came to a heart-in-mouth conclusion when it smashed into a parked Vauxhall.
