BLOOD BIKE RIDER DIES IN HOSPITAL DAYS AFTER CRASH

A BLOOD bike rider has died days after being involved in a collision.

Andrew Rogers, a volunteer for Blood Bike Wales, was involved in a crash on the A48 near Llanddarog, Carmarthenshire on Monday, December 29.
The crash occurred at around 6pm on the westbound carriageway between the botanical gardens turning and Llanddarog junction, and involved a black Audi A3 and a Honda 750 branded blood bike.
Mr Rogers, aged 61, passed away in hospital on New Year's Day.
His family paid tribute to him through Dyfed-Powys Police, describing him as someone "deeply passionate about helping people", reports Wales Online.
The tribute read: "Andrew was volunteering as a blood bike rider at the time, something he was deeply passionate about.
