Admin error delays debate on plans for 152 homes

A DEBATE on a major housing scheme in Penrhyn Bay has been delayed after a council admin error.

Conwy’s planning committee met to discuss Anwyl Construction’s plans to build 152 homes on 6.6 hectares of land off Derwen Lane.

‘The plans include 54 affordable homes, a play area, and a new 61-space car park for Ysgol Y Creuddyn.

Planning officers were recommending the project for approval, despite 132 letters of objection from residents.

But Conwy’s head of planning Paula Jones revealed the wrong planning report had been published online, meaning the meeting should be delayed.
