9-day line closure to lay new track

TRAINS are to stop running on a Gwynedd section of the Cambrian Coast Line while new track is laid.

Replacement buses will be provided during the nine-day stoppage between Pwllheli and Dovey Junction.

Work to upgrade the section starts on Valentine's Day.

Drivers may also be affected as two level crossings will experience periodic closures (see times below).

During the works, rails, sleepers, switches and crossings will be replaced.

Engineers will also inspect bridges and carry out maintenance on level crossings.
