A teenage girl was left a “shell of her former self” after being sexually assaulted.

Mark De La Mare, 63, of Cae Dafydd, Meifod, was jailed at Mold Crown Court for sexual assault
Mark De La Mare denied committing the offence against her but was convicted after a trial.
A judge at Mold Crown Court yesterday told the 63-year-old he had “succumbed to his base instincts” and has no insight into the harm he caused.
He jailed De La Mare, of Cae Dafydd, Meifod near Welshpool, for two years and three months for sexual assault.
