THE Met Office has issued a 12-hour weather warning for parts of North Wales as people are told to expect travel disruption and potential power cuts.

The warning for wind comes into force today.
The warning, which covers the counties of Conwy, Gwynedd, and Anglesey, came into force at 4am today and is scheduled to remain in place until 4pm.
Forecasters have urged people to take extra care, as a band of heavy rain accompanies the powerful gusts.
Authorities have warned there could be travel disruption, with bus and train journeys potentially taking longer.
