This year, the foundation has extended an invitation to Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, to deliver the lecture.
Despite facing US sanctions and substantial criticism from Israel, Albanese’s presence underscores the foundation's commitment to facilitating poignant discussions surrounding human rights and peace.
Mbongiseni Buthelezi, CEO of the foundation, emphasised the importance of dialogue in resolving conflicts, particularly in the context of Gaza’s ongoing strife.
