Their midweek matches will intensify the fierce title race, with both clubs facing critical fixtures that could shape the championship's trajectory. Sundowns will face Orbit College FC tomorrow, a match moved up from its original date on Saturday.

Additionally, the fixture moved from the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace to the expansive 32 000-seater Olympia Stadium in Rustenburg.

Frustration arose for Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso, who expressed his discontent after the two parties ignored his plea for a postponement.

Cardoso requested a delay to allow the squad sufficient recovery time ahead of a crucial CAF Champions League clash against Mali's Stade Malien, scheduled just three days later at Loftus Versfeld.
