Four Falkland Island commemorative plaques unveiled by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, which bore his name, have been removed by authorities.
-
Andrew, who served in the Royal Navy for 22 years, helped defend the islands during the 1982 conflict with Argentina. You say...
I CAN'T blame the Falkland Islands for distancing themselves from the former prince and removing plaques from public buildings with his name on.
It’s another humiliation for Andrew and just deserts for his involvement with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. But one has to wonder why the identities of so many rich and powerful men involved in Epstein’s murky world haven't been fully disclosed.
Was it convenient to let Windsor take the heat to distract attention?
Will the victims of Epstein’s sex trafficking ever get proper justice?
Jenny Pain, Chatham, Kent
The decision to remove plaques with his name on are the latest snub for Mr Mountbatten-Windsor. When the Epstein files are released in full, there could be a lot more.
