Wind project takes a blow

WORK on one of the UK's biggest offshore wind farms has been halted - in a blow to the government's clean energy plans.

Danish firm Orsted blamed the rising costs of its Hornsea 4 project, higher interest rates and the increasing risk of not finishing the project on time.

The wind farm in the North Sea would have been capable of powering more than one million homes.
