DELIGHT England will be hoping for more reasons to celebrate after today’s final against Canada

WHAT a journey it has been watching our Red Roses tear through this World Cup.

As Sports Minister, I have been lucky enough to follow them from that opening night in Sunderland right through to Bristol for last weekend's stunning semifinal - and everywhere I go there is a real buzz around women’s rugby.

Just look at Ellie Kildunne lighting up that semifinal with her incredible tries, or Meg Jones who has been nothing short of brilliant all tournament and up for World Rugby's Player of the Year.

I want to congratulate the players and coaches on their fantastic run so far.
