Ukrainians & Russians talk peace in Geneva

A UKRAINIAN delegation headed to Geneva yesterday for more US-brokered peace talks with Russian officials.

Just ahead of the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of its neighbour, there was no anticipation of any significant progress on ending the war at tomorrow and Wednesday's meeting in the Swiss city.

The future of Ukrainian land that Russia occupies or still covets remains a bone of contention - but Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said yesterday the talks would deal with a “broader range of issues”.
