Youngest female murderer at 12 seeking release 30yrs later

- DAN WARBURTON

The Devil's Daughter out of jail in days...

BRITAIN'S youngest murderer, who stabbed a stranger to death and bragged about it behind bars, could walk free in days.

Sharon Carr, branded the "Devil's Daughter", was 12 years old when she knifed 18-year-old Katie Rackliff more than 30 times in an unprovoked attack.

Carr picked her victim out at random as she saw her walking home from a night out in June 1992.

The murder went unsolved for two years until she attacked a schoolgirl and boasted about Katie's killing while detained in a young offender institution - even writing twisted diary entries.

More than 30 years after the murder, Carr will find out within days if she is to be released.

A source said: "Carr's crimes were terrifying and there have been signs in prison that she's still a danger. She's been in solitary confinement. No one will want to see her released."
