Tot abandoned as a 'witch' graduates primary school
HIS name is a fitting symbol of his strength and perseverance - Hope.
A starving little boy once at death's door, the lad is now thriving and has just graduated from primary school.
Hope was found abandoned by a roadside in the state of Akwa Ibom in Nigeria when he was three years old.
Cast out from his community because they thought the devil had possessed him and turned him into a witch, he weighed less than 7lb.
Hope's skeletal body was so weak he did not even have the strength to hold a carton of juice to drink from, and a photo in 2016 of him being given water from a bottle went viral.
The Mirror has followed his amazing progress since he was saved from the streets by the charity Land of Hope.
