Eddie always in spotlight but heat turning up
EDDIE HOWE admits there is now “big” pressure on Tyneside and that the next four weeks will decide the next chapter at Newcastle.
Howe felt the full heat of Geordie fans after the 1-0 loss against Sunderland at the weekend, but can repair some of the damage with victory over Fulham in the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup tonight.
But the Toon boss indicated that cup progress and playing catch-up in the Premier League could perhaps define whether there are bigger decisions to be made behind the scenes.
When asked if he and the club are approaching a critical moment or two, Howe said: “Every moment is a critical time. When you are involved in this club, the pressures are big.
