A MAN who stole a handbag containing a Fabergé egg and a watch worth more than £2million has pleaded guilty to fraud.

Stolen bag had £2m Fabergé egg inside

Enzo Conticello, 29, also admitted using the victim's stolen bank cards to buy cigarettes and other items from supermarkets.

A watch belonging to the Craft Irish Whiskey Company, a laptop and credit cards were also in the handbag.

Southwark crown court heard the Fabergé egg has not been located.

The theft took place in Soho, Central London, on November 7, 2024.
