Stam is jailed for drug plot

FORMER Premier League star Ronnie Stam has been jailed for seven years for drug smuggling.
Defender Stam (above), who made 73 appearances for Wigan Athletic and lifted the FA Cup in 2011, attempted to import 700kg of cocaine into the Netherlands from Chile.
