Pooch's blood rescued dogs
GORDON setter Sharwood turned into a true bark angel and saved more than 168 fellow pooches by giving blood.
The eight-year-old broke records by giving more than 40 blood donations to the Pet Blood Bank for critically-ill or injured pets.
Sharwood has now made it to the finals of Crufts annual Hero Dog Awards.
Owner Sue Mitchell, 72, from Eaton Bray, Beds, first took him to donate blood when he was 13 months old.
