SEX OFFENDER PAID £500 TO BE DEPORTED

Handout offered to speed up return to Ethiopia

RUNAWAY sex offender Hadush Kebatu was handed £500 to make sure he would be deported without making a fuss.

He was given the handout after he tried to resist being sent back to Ethiopia following his accidental release from jail.

Officials wanted to avoid the cost of cancelling his flight for the 5,500-mile trip to the African country.
