SALE PAIR A DOUBT FOR BORTHWICK

SALE pair Tom Roebuck and Ben Curry are struggling to make the Six Nations as boss Steve Borthwick plots his way to the opener against Wales on February 7.

Wing Roebuck and back row Curry are not expected to feature for Sharks at least until their Prem clash with Northampton on 24 January - three days before England's pre-tournament camp in Girona.

Roebuck injured his toe in England's 33-19 win over New Zealand on November 15 and was told he would be out for eight to 10 weeks but looks likely to go over that target.

Curry missed the entire autumn campaign with hamstring trouble and has played just twice since for a total of 96 minutes at the start of the month.
