RORY MCILROY will bid to reclaim the Scottish Open title after confirming his participation at the Renaissance Club in July.

Mcllroy, who completed a career Grand Slam at the Masters (right), won on Scottish soil two years ago and the tournament will be ideal preparation for The Open, which takes place in his native Northern Ireland the following week.
