Reform chief 'took bribes to speak up for Russians'

REFORM UK's former Welsh leader has appeared in court accused of accepting bribes to speak in favour of Russia in the European Parliament.
Nathan Gill faces eight charges of bribery as well as one count of conspiracy to commit bribery.
Magistrates heard then-MEP Gill's words were "supportive of a particular narrative" and would "benefit Russia regarding events in Ukraine".
